Wanted to let you all know that we are very busy migrating uvcopies to a new platform. Tictail has been purchased by Shopify and will close all Tictail storefronts on April 1st 2019. Shopify has offered Tictail refugees a 6-month free trial. However, we have realized Shopify may prefer digital copy movie sellers very much so we have decided to use an open sourced platform.
So we are in this process of a steep learning curve. With an open free platform Zencart you have to do much of the server work and tweaks by yourself. Although I enjoy this type of stuff very much there is not much time to dedicate to it right now. So this will be a huge upgrade for the store, but will take some time to get it ready to launch. The new site will have some cool new features. First of all customers can create their own accounts, access previous orders and check the status of new orders. Eventually we will add instant delivery too, so your code will be automatically shown to you after checkout. Sweet! We will also add a rewards system for repeat customers.
I've got the servers running with a staging domain running. Currently I'm learning how to migrate all of our products as it would take forever to manually enter each one.
This will take place over the next week or two. We hope that there won't be any downtime, although it is possible the site might come down for a couple hours or so. I'll post another update in a few days.
